We understand that sometimes things change, and you might want to close your FXTM account. No worries – we’ll guide you through the steps to make it a smooth process.
Please note, that once your account is closed, it cannot be restored, and any previous email or phone number used won’t be available for new registrations. You’ll need to use a new email and phone number if you ever decide to come back.
Before You Start
There are a few things to keep in mind before you close your account:
- Close All Open Trades
- Before you can close your account, make sure to close all open trades on your trading accounts and withdraw any remaining funds. Without completing this step, the "Terminate Account" button will not be active for you.
- Account Deactivation is Permanent
Once your account is closed, it can't be reactivated. If you decide to return to FXTM in the future, you can always create a new account and complete the verification process again.
Steps to Close Your FXTM Account
- Login to your FXTM Account.
- Go to Profile > General Settings
- Close "Terminate FXTM account".
- You will need to confirm the action.
- Once it is done, you will be automatically logged out from your account.
