After registering your IB account, it is essential to finalize the process by completing the verification. This step is crucial to ensure the security and integrity of your account.
Checking Your Verification Status
In the upper right corner of your account dashboard, you will find a progress indicator showing the percentage of your verification completion. This visual guide helps you track how much of the process remains.
Steps to Verify Your Account
To initiate the verification process, click on the onboarding percentage displayed in your dashboard. This action will guide you through the necessary steps.
- Enter Personal Information
You will need to provide your personal details. This includes:
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Country of residence
Once you fill out this personal information, your onboarding steps will be completed by 50%. Make sure to enter this information accurately, as it will be used to verify your identity.
- Upload Required Documents
In the second stage, you will be prompted to upload documents that validate your identity and confirm your residence.
Please ensure that:
- Your photo ID is clear and visible
- Your ID is issued by a Government Agency
- Your Name, Date of Birth and Expiry/Issue Date are clearly shown
- Your proof of residence should not be more than 3 months old.
